This product is specifically designed for landscaping purposes as it is less filtered (98% metal free) than our other playground-ready mulches. That being said, this product should be used only for landscaping and kept away from high-play areas. Our other landscaping rubber mulches include our Premium RhinoMulch 3/8", and Shredded RhinoMulch 3" which are 99.9% free of all trapped metal.

Our coloring process has been optimized to ensure that the color of your rubber mulch lasts for years. We combine UV protection, uniquely formulated binders, and specialized pigments to keep the colors of our mulch looking the same as the day it was purchased. All colorings are non-toxic, water-based, and come from an iron-oxide pigment with a 10 year limited color warranty. Our colorings also contain anti-microbial agents. In the event that we do not have a color to meet your needs, we are able to custom make colors.
